A Category 5 Risk establishment must have a laundry/dishwashing installation protected by a Type A air gap in order to connect directly to mains water and prevent backflow contamination. The Miele Range of Little Giants, market leaders in 5 and 6kg capacity commercial laundries, now has an integrated Type A air gap as standard. They have been tested and approved by the Water Regulation Advisory Scheme (Certificate number 0009037). This means that you have the maximum protection possible, no matter what your application is, or how it changes in the future. In addition, the Miele WS5073 washer extractors are also WRAS approved.

The new range of Commercial Dishwashers (G7855, G7856 & G7859) also feature an integrated Type A air gap and are WRAS approved.
